Our Founder

Carrie Murray is the Founder of BRA – Business Relationship Alliance and The Wealthy Women Summit, as well as a speaker, podcast host, and a Board Member for three nonprofit organizations.

Carrie has passionately dedicated herself to empowering women for decades. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from San Francisco State University with an emphasis in Domestic Violence, becoming the first member of her family to graduate from college. Carrie worked as a court advocate, helping victims understand their rights and navigate the judicial system and went on to get a Master’s Degree from Antioch University with an emphasis in Social Justice.

Later, Carrie became a teacher in the LA Unified School District, then an administrator at a public charter school, and ultimately a Principal. In 2011, Carrie started her own school, Prestique Academy of Innovation and Technology, a school for twice exceptional kids.

Eventually, BRA was born out of a shared need among her friends who also owned businesses — a need for community, a place to share experience, provide advice, seek education and receive support from like-minded female entrepreneurs. Both she and BRA have been featured in a variety of interviews, articles, and podcasts!

Fear was one of my greatest limiters in the past. The greatest gift I’ve been given as an entrepreneur and as a human being has been the knowledge that I have what it takes. I am enough. I am worthy. And I mean to pass that along to every entrepreneur I can.
