Sheila created Sketch by Sketch during a difficult time in her life where she found that the act of sketching and freestyle drawing was an impactful way to process what she was feeling.
One simple sketch became a daily practice and developed into a meditative and therapeutic tool that she’s now taught and shared with thousands of people.

Celebrity Chef Katie ChinChef Katie Chin crafted some delicious works of art for us! (THANK YOU, KATIE!)
An Award-winning cookbook author, caterer, blogger and Culinary Ambassador to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Katie has been featured in many publications such as O Magazine, Cooking Light, Bon Appetit, Elle, Real Simple, The Wall Street Journal, HuffPost and Family Circle.
Her numerous appearances on national television include The Real, The Today Show, Hallmark Channel, Cooking Channel, Cutthroat Kitchen, Beat Bobby Flay, ABC’s Localish, and as a guest judge on Food Network’s Iron Chef America.
The Beneficiary
At our core, BRA was founded on the principle that we are stronger as a collective than as individuals.
That’s why we took action and chose to donate a portion of proceeds from this event to the Equality Texas Foundation; a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing
